Welcome to Le Spugne, our Tuscan farmhouse from the early nineteen hundreds, situated in the Botte valley and lovingly restored to conserve its style and original features.
The Le Spugne guest house is set deep in the Tuscan countryside, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, woods and cypress trees, with beautiful panoramic views of the unspoilt natural area through which the Botte stream flows.
The guest house enjoys a peaceful and attractive position and a lovely pool, and its geographical location also makes it an ideal base from which guests can visit Tuscany’s notable cities of art such as Montespertoli, Florence, Montelupo Fiorentino, San Gimignano, San Miniato, Castel Fiorentino, Vinci, Siena and Pisa just a few kilometres’ drive away.
The owners, photographer Gianni Baggi, restaurateur Andrea Susanne Heinisch and their son Nicolas, will welcome you with relaxed family hospitality. To introduce and share the atmosphere of the place with you and to highlight the special features of the Le Spugne guest house, Gianni will take original, unseen photographs for each month of the year and give them to you as a gift.
The five rooms available to guests - “Rose” (Roses), “Margherite” (Daisies), “Tulipani” (Tulips), “Mandala” and “Aquiloni” (Kites) - are comfortably furnished and attractively decorated by Andrea Susanne and offer scenic views.
