The little village of Le Spugne is situated in the Botinaccio locality of the municipality of Montespertoli in Tuscany. Those travelling by car can easily reach us via the “FI-PI-LI” Florence-Pisa-Livorno Highway. We recommend that you take the MONTELUP FIORENTINO exit. At the exit, you will see signs for Botinaccio and Montespertoli.
Those coming from Montespertoli should take the Via Botinaccio road and follow the signs.
- From the A1 motorway (“Autostrada del Sole” or “motorway of the sun”), either from the direction of Rome or Milan, exit at Scandicci, join the “FI-PI-LI” highway and take the Montelupo Fiorentino exit.
- From Livorno or Pisa, take the “FI-PI-LI” highway towards Florence and exit at Montelupo Fiorentino.
- From Siena, take the Via Botinaccio road when you reach Montespertoli and follow the signs.
- For those arriving by plane, the nearest airports are Pisa or Florence. From there you can reach the railway stations of Pisa or Florence S. Maria Novella.
- Take the train to Empoli station. From there it is a 20-minute drive to Botinaccio. (Nearest town: Montelupo Fiorentino.)
